Angaza Bible & Training Institute Invites Applications for TVET Government Students

Angaza Bible & Training Institute is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Authority to offer government sponsorship for students who want to enroll in TVET programs at the institution. TVET programs are courses that equip students with practical skills and competencies in various fields of interest, such as biblical languages, biblical interpretation, Christian ethics, church history, pastoral care, counseling, leadership, missions, evangelism, and vocational studies.

The government sponsorship program is open for all levels of study: certificate, diploma, degree, master’s, and PhD. The program covers the tuition fees and other charges for the students who qualify for the funding. The program also provides loans and scholarships for students who need additional financial assistance.

To apply for the government sponsorship program, applicants need to follow these steps:

  • Fill out an online application form on the institution’s website and submit the required documents, such as academic transcripts, personal statement, recommendation letters, and research proposal (for master’s and PhD applicants).
  • Pay a non-refundable application fee as stated in the fees structure.
  • Wait for the notification of admission status from the institution within two weeks after the submission of the application.
  • If admitted, receive an admission letter and an invoice for the tuition fees from the institution.
  • Confirm the acceptance of admission by paying the initial fees within one month after receiving the admission letter.
  • Apply for the government sponsorship through the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) website using the link provided by the institution.
  • Complete the HELB Mean Testing Instrument (MTI) to determine the level of funding based on various criteria, such as parent’s background, gender weights, course type, previous school, family’s expenditure on education, family size and composition, marginalization and disabilities.
  • Wait for the approval of funding from HELB within four weeks after completing the MTI.
  • If approved, receive a confirmation letter and a funding agreement from HELB.
  • Sign and return the funding agreement to HELB within two weeks after receiving it.
  • Start the TVET program at Angaza Bible & Training Institute in September 2023.

Angaza Bible & Training Institute welcomes all applicants who meet the admission requirements and share the institution’s vision and mission.
